This beer was brewed in collaboration with Equilibrium Brewing out of New York. For anyone that doesn't know Chris, he's a bit of a mad scientist himself, but Pete from Equilibrium takes that to a whole new level. Both make fantastic beers and we put their eccentric minds to work on this one. We took a rich barleywine base and added dried figs and vanilla. The result is an English-style barleywine with just a touch more of that classic fig flavor and a bit of vanilla sweetness. They were also kind enough to grace the label with their likenesses.
